Privacy Policy
Effective date / last updated: October 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit minimilitiaclassicgame.com ("the site"), how it is used, and the choices you have. The site is run by Mini Militia Classic Game ("we", "us", "our"), an independent fan site. If you have any questions, email us at contact@minimilitiaclassicgame.com.
The short version
- There are no accounts, no sign-up, no forms, no comments and no newsletter on this site. We do not ask you for your name, email or any other personal details.
- The browser game on our homepage saves nothing. It does not store progress or scores, and it sets no cookies.
- Our hosting provider, Vercel, may process basic technical data (such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- We plan to show ads from Google AdSense and possibly other ad networks. These third parties may use cookies and similar technologies, as explained below.
- We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. Ads and analytics are never required to play the game.
Information we collect
Information you give us
The only way to send us information is by email. If you email contact@minimilitiaclassicgame.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to read and reply to your message, and to keep a record of the conversation if needed (for example, for a copyright request).
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, our site is delivered by a hosting provider. When you load a page, Vercel's servers may automatically record standard server log data, such as:
- Your IP address
- Your browser type and version (user agent)
- The page you requested and the referring page
- The date and time of the request
This data is used to deliver pages, fix errors and protect the site against abuse. We do not use it to identify you personally. You can learn more in Vercel's Privacy Policy.
Information collected by advertising and analytics partners
Google Analytics, and ad partners once ads are active, may collect information through cookies, web beacons and similar technologies. This is described in the sections below.
The game and your data
The game on our homepage is a fan-made, open-source browser remake of Mini Militia's single-player Survival mode. It runs entirely in your browser. It does not save your progress or scores, does not require an account, and does not set cookies. When you close or reload the page, the game starts fresh.
How we use information
We use the limited information described above to:
- Deliver the site and the game to your device
- Keep the site secure and working properly
- Understand, in general terms, how the site is used so we can improve guides and fix problems
- Show ads that help keep the site and the game free
- Reply to emails you send us
We do not sell your email address or any information you send us.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We plan to display ads on the site through Google AdSense and possibly other third-party ad networks. Ads help us keep the site and the game free. Here is how advertising cookies work:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Other third-party vendors or ad networks may also use cookies or web beacons to serve ads on our site and to measure how ads perform.
You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
How to opt out of personalized ads
- You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
If you opt out, you may still see ads, but they will be less tailored to your interests. Where required by law (for example, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland), ads may be shown only after you give consent through a consent message, and you can change your choice at any time.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the site: for example which pages and guides are read, how long visits last, which devices and browsers are used, and the approximate region (such as the country or city) visits come from. Google Analytics uses cookies, such as _ga, and similar technologies to collect this information. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We look at these reports in aggregate to improve the site, and we do not use them to identify you.
Google processes this data under its own privacy terms. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies in your browser settings also stops this collection.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Our own site and the game do not need cookies to work. However, third parties such as Google Analytics and ad networks may set cookies or use similar technologies like web beacons, pixels or local storage.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, block third-party cookies only, or browse in a private window. Blocking cookies will not stop the game from working, though some ads may display differently.
Children's privacy
Our site is a general-audience website and is not directed to children under 13. In line with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game itself collects no personal information from any player.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has sent us personal information (for example, by email), please contact us at contact@minimilitiaclassicgame.com and we will delete it.
International users and GDPR
Our site can be visited from anywhere in the world, and the hosting provider and ad partners may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, data protection laws such as the GDPR give you certain rights. Depending on your situation, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (for example, personalized ads)
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
Our legal bases for processing are our legitimate interests (delivering and securing the site, replying to your emails) and your consent where the law requires it (such as for personalized advertising cookies). Because we hold very little data, the main personal data we can act on directly is email correspondence. For data held by Google, other ad vendors or Vercel, you can also use their own privacy tools.
California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you rights including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for using these rights.
We do not sell personal information you give us, such as your email. However, if ads are shown, third-party ad partners may collect identifiers (such as cookie IDs and IP addresses) and browsing activity on our site for personalized advertising, which California law may treat as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can limit this by opting out through Google Ads Settings and www.aboutads.info, by blocking third-party cookies in your browser, or by turning on a browser privacy signal such as Global Privacy Control, which some ad partners recognize.
To make a request, email contact@minimilitiaclassicgame.com.
Data retention
We keep emails only as long as needed to respond and handle your request, or longer if needed for a legal reason (such as a copyright notice). Server logs are kept by Vercel according to its own retention practices. Google Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics data retention settings and Google's policies, and data collected by ad partners is kept according to their policies.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, which encrypts the connection between your browser and our site. Because we do not run accounts or forms, we hold very little information about visitors. Still, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party links
Our guides may link to other websites, such as official app store pages, the open-source game code on GitHub, or other resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. Please read their privacy policies before sharing any information with them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we start showing ads or change the tools we use. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Please check this page now and then to stay informed.
