Mini Militia Guns List: Every Weapon Explained
The official Appsomniacs pages for Mini Militia name these guns: the Desert Eagle, Uzi, Magnum, MP5, AK47, M4, M14, shotgun, M93BA sniper rifle, SMAW rocket launcher, PHASR and Saw Gun, plus a machete and frag, proximity and gas grenades. This Mini Militia guns list explains what each weapon is, when to use it, and how dual wield and zoom work.
All of these weapons belong to the original mobile apps. If you want to warm up on the basics first, our free Mini Militia Classic game is a fan-made browser remake of Survival mode with one pistol-style gun, so you can practice aiming and jetpack movement before you jump into a full match.
Versions differ, too. The Mini Militia Classic App Store listing mentions default dual wielding. In Miniclip's version, dual wield unlocks when a weapon reaches its required level, and weapons can be upgraded. We cover both below.
Key takeaways
- The official Appsomniacs pages name the Desert Eagle, Uzi, Magnum, MP5, AK47, M4, M14, shotgun, M93BA, SMAW, machete, PHASR and Saw Gun, plus frag, proximity and gas grenades.
- The sniper rifle is the M93BA, and zoom control works on various weapons, not only the sniper.
- No gun is best everywhere: use shotguns and SMGs up close, assault rifles at mid range and the M93BA at long range.
- Dual wield (the double gun) works differently by version: default in Mini Militia Classic, unlocked by weapon level in Miniclip's version.
- Our free browser remake of Survival mode has one pistol-style gun only, which makes it a simple place to practice aim.
The Full Mini Militia Guns List
Here is every weapon named on the official Doodle Army 2: Mini Militia page from Appsomniacs, the studio that made the game. The same list appears on the Mini Militia Classic page. The "best use" column is practical advice based on each weapon type, not official stats.
| Weapon name | Type | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| Desert Eagle | Handgun | Handgun that can be dual wielded (official pages list dual wield with handguns) |
| Magnum | Handgun | Careful single shots at short to mid range |
| Uzi | Submachine gun | Fast, close fights and chasing flying enemies |
| MP5 | Submachine gun | Close to mid range when you need steady fire |
| AK47 | Assault rifle | All-round fighting at mid range |
| M4 | Assault rifle | Mid-range fights; a solid swap if you can't find an AK47 |
| M14 | Rifle | Mid to long range shots across open space |
| Shotgun | Shotgun | Very close range, corners and tight tunnels |
| M93BA | Sniper rifle | Long range shots from a safe, high spot |
| SMAW | Rocket launcher | Hitting groups and players hiding near walls |
| PHASR | Special weapon | Test how it fires in an offline mode before relying on it in a match |
| Saw Gun | Special weapon | Try it in an offline mode first to learn how it handles |
| Machete | Melee blade | Finishing an enemy who lands right next to you |
| Frag grenade | Explosive grenade | Flushing players out of cover |
| Proximity grenade | Grenade that reacts to nearby players | Guarding a doorway, flag or narrow path |
| Gas grenade | Gas grenade | Blocking an area so enemies have to move |
Other official descriptions mention more. The Mini Militia Classic listing on Google Play names a flamethrower, and Miniclip's help center lists items such as the XM8 and a grenade launcher in its crates. The exact lineup depends on which version you play, so treat the table above as the core set.
Mini Militia Weapon Types Explained
Knowing the weapon type tells you more than the name does. Each type has a range where it shines and a range where it struggles.
Handguns
The Desert Eagle and Magnum are the handguns on the official list. They still matter, because the official pages tie dual wield to handguns, and two at once give you a lot more firepower.
Submachine guns
The Uzi and MP5 fire quickly. That makes them forgiving when an enemy is flying around you with rocket boots, because a spray of bullets is easier to land than one perfect shot.
Assault rifles and the M14
The AK47 and M4 are the middle ground: good enough close up and still useful across a room. The M14 leans toward longer shots, so give it a bit of distance.
Shotgun
The shotgun is a short-range weapon. Use it around corners, in tunnels and on players who rush you. At long range it wastes your time.
Sniper rifle
The M93BA is the Mini Militia sniper. It rewards patience, good positioning and the zoom control covered later in this guide.
Explosives and special weapons
The SMAW rocket launcher and the grenades are explosives and area weapons, so they can be useful even when you cannot see an enemy clearly. The PHASR and Saw Gun are the more unusual names on the list. Miniclip's App Store listing describes a "wide range of modern and futuristic weapon types."
Best Gun in Mini Militia for Each Range
There is no single best gun in Mini Militia. The best choice is the one that fits the distance you are fighting at and the map you are on. Use this table as a starting point.

| Range | Good picks | Why they work |
|---|---|---|
| Close (same platform, tunnels) | Shotgun, Uzi, MP5, machete | Fast or wide shots land before the enemy can react |
| Mid (across a room or gap) | AK47, M4, dual handguns | Steady damage without needing perfect aim |
| Long (across open ground) | M93BA, M14 | Longer reach lets you hit targets far away; use zoom where your weapon has it |
| Groups and cover | SMAW, frag and gas grenades | Explosives and area weapons can reach players behind cover |
A simple habit helps a lot: carry one gun for close fights and one for distance. If you hold a sniper rifle, keep a fast-firing gun as your other weapon so you are not stuck scoped in when someone flies at you.
Movement matters as much as the gun. For more on flying, cover and timing, read our Mini Militia tips and tricks.
Mini Militia Sniper and Zoom Basics
The sniper in Mini Militia is the M93BA. The official feature lists also mention "zoom control on various weapons," so zoom is not only for the sniper. Mini Militia Classic adds extra screen layout options alongside zoom.
Zoom lets you see and hit players far off screen, but it shrinks what you notice up close. Use these basics:
- Pick a high, covered spot. Stand behind a wall or ledge so only part of you is exposed.
- Stay still when you take the shot. Lining up while flying is much harder.
- Lead moving targets. Aim slightly ahead of a player who is flying across the screen.
- Zoom out between shots. Check who is near you before you scope in again.
- Move after a few shots. Players will learn where you are and come for you.
Sniping tends to suit modes where players hold positions. Our guide to Mini Militia game modes explains how each mode plays.
Mini Militia Double Gun: How Dual Wield Works
The "double gun" is dual wield: holding a handgun in each hand. Both Appsomniacs pages list "dual wield with hand guns" as a feature. How you get it depends on the version.
- Original Doodle Army 2 (Appsomniacs era): the official page lists dual wield with handguns as a feature and says to buy the Pro Player Pack "to get full access to online weapons." It does not list exactly what the pack includes.
- Mini Militia Classic: the Mini Militia Classic App Store listing mentions "default dual wielding and full power access to map weapons."
- Miniclip's version: Miniclip's help center says dual wield unlocks when a weapon reaches its required level, not your account level. Its example shows the Magnum with dual wield unlocked at level 10.
Stick to the official app for your version. Unofficial copies that promise to unlock everything can put your account and your phone at risk, and they are not needed to enjoy the game.
Melee Attacks and Grenades
Melee attacks are part of the official feature list, and the machete is the named melee weapon. Melee is a finishing move. If an enemy lands right next to you, a quick strike can end the fight faster than turning to aim.
The three grenade types each have a job:
- Frag grenade: the standard explosive. Throw it at a player hiding behind cover or into a group.
- Proximity grenade: as the name suggests, it reacts when players come near. Drop one on a path you expect enemies to use.
- Gas grenade: as the name suggests, it is built to control an area rather than hit one target. Use it to push players out of a spot they are holding.
The official pages also list power-ups that are not weapons but change fights: a power boost, a health pack and a riot shield. Remember where power-ups sit on the map so you can reach them quickly when a fight turns against you.
Gun Upgrades and Version Differences
Weapon upgrades are part of Miniclip's version. The Mini Militia - Doodle Army 2 App Store listing says "weapon upgrades allow you to make them stronger," and its Battle Pass can reward weapons. Miniclip's help center also describes crates that contain weapon pieces.
People often search for a max level for each gun. We could not find an official public chart of upgrade levels and stats, and these numbers can change with updates. Check the weapon screen inside your own app for the current values.
Mini Militia Classic's App Store listing highlights different things. It talks about full power access to map weapons, new weapons and a new loadout and special abilities system. To see how the two versions compare, read Mini Militia Classic vs War.io.
Guns in Our Free Browser Version
Our site's game is a fan-made, open-source remake of Survival mode, not the official app. It has one weapon only: a pistol-style gun that fires yellow bullets. There are no pickups, grenades, melee, zoom, dual wield or power-ups.

That keeps the focus on aim and movement:
- On PC: aim with the mouse and left click to shoot. Each click fires one shot.
- On phones and tablets: drag the right-side AIM / FIRE joystick. While it is pushed out, the gun fires about three shots per second.
- Enemies: each jetpack soldier takes 2 to 5 hits, shown by the green health bar over its head. Every kill is worth 100 points.
- Cover: bullets stop when they hit terrain or the big stones, so use the stones to block enemy fire.
The full control list is in our how to play guide. When you are ready, play Mini Militia Classic online in your browser for free, with no install and no account.
